Our Setting
We operate in a single-storey building and garden within the grounds of Belvoir Academy in Bottesford. The easily accessible building is purpose-built and consists of an entrance hall, two playrooms, toilet facilities, a kitchen and an office. The site is securely fenced, with a gate at the entrance and a key pad lock fitted to the main door.
Outside there is a large grassed area, including our own little hill, a hard surfaced area, all-weather play area, boot store, playlodge, workshop, mud kitchen and vegetable area. We have recently installed a sensory pod for all children to use. Our play equipment includes a wobbly bridge, treehouse and climbing wall along with a tunnel through the hill and a swing & slide set. We also have access to the adjoining woodland area, which is a lovely area for exploring.
We operate a free-flow policy and children have free access to outdoor play whatever the weather. We have lots of sun hats, gloves, hats, scarves and wellies to ensure children are dressed ready to play in all weathers.
